Annual Events in Sioux Falls
Free summer concerts by the falls, a classic county fair, and one of the region’s biggest motorcycle nights — the Sioux Falls calendar fills up once the weather turns.
Recurring Annual Events
Levitt at the Falls
A free outdoor concert series at the Levitt Shell near Falls Park. Each summer brings roughly 50 free concerts — typically running from around June into September — spanning a wide range of music. One of the city’s signature warm-weather traditions.
Sioux Empire Fair
The annual fair at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds, typically held in late July or early August. Carnival rides, grandstand concerts, livestock and horse shows, and fair food — a long-running Sioux Falls summer staple.
Hot Harley Nights
A mid-summer motorcycle event featuring a large motorcycle parade, bike shows, and a poker run that benefits the Make-A-Wish program. It draws riders and spectators from across the region.
Many of these center on downtown and Falls Park, which is part of what makes the warm-weather calendar so walkable. See Things to Do and the Parks & Trails guide for more.
